The following content includes but is not limited to settings for desktop applications such as Dropbox, Line, and Telegram. Any other programs that allow manual proxy configuration can refer to the steps below for setup.

Telegram users should note that Telegram currently offers two versions on the macOS App Store: Telegram and Telegram Desktop.
Please download and try both versions, as we have received feedback from some users indicating that one version may not work properly with proxies.

The following example uses the Dropbox client on macOS.

First, open Dropbox's Preferences.

Then navigate to Network - Proxy Settings.

Change it to Manual.

You only need to fill in the following information:

Proxy Type, Server Address, Port.

The content to be filled in depends on your operating system and configuration plan. After completing the setup according to the tutorial, the default proxy server information can be found in the table below:

Some clients offer both types of proxies (HTTP, SOCKS5). You can choose either based on your needs. We recommend using SOCKS5 for better compatibility.
If you have modified the listening port in the client, you need to enter the modified port number.
